On the weekend of August 17-19, 2001, fans and friends gathered in Dallas to celebrate Billy's 62nd birthday. People of all walks of life flew, drove, walked, crawled, limped to Poor David's Pub and the Marriott to pay tribute to Billy Joe and each other. Go Here for some wonderful reporting on that weekend.
